I bought a cat eye astrale yesterday, I have aero bars on my bike so I couldn't mount it on the top of my bars. Do any of you know if Cat Eye makes a part that mounts the computer in the other direction so I can put it on the stem or the straight portion of the aero bars? I have searched the forum and the web, it looks like there are a lot of small parts for these things, but the descriptions are not very clear. It is currently mounted sideways on my stem, please help before I hurt my neck or crash :)
If it helps, heres a link to the specific computer...

Profile makes an aero mount:

You can get them most-everywhere that sells aerobars for around ten bucks.

thanks, that will work perfectly
The part you want is the Stem Mount Bracket Kit, Part ##169-6469. You can find it in a .PDF document located on the Cateye web site under Tech Support>Manual Downloads>Older Models>CC-CD100 (Astrale)

I made my own out of a 1/2 inch PVC piece of pipe, contoured the ends to fit the areo bar and drilled two small holes in the ends and used wire ties to secure it to the bars, paint it the right color to match and there you go.

I have my Astrale on a Profile mount on my stem. I don't have aero bars, I just wanted to clear some space on my bar.
