Bicycle Mechanics - Axle thread for Normandy HF hubs?

I'm looking at re-building an old rear hub with a longer axle so I can run a 6 speed fw. I dug up this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=101099&highlight=thread+normandy+hub) old thread where it was stated that Campy axles and cones are interchangeable with Normandy OEM. However, the same thread also stated that Campy threading is 10 x 1mm, which is different than what the Harris site (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/axles.html) says (they say 26tpi). My cones are still useable, so I'd like to just replace the axle. Can anyone tell me for sure what the OEM axle thread is?

I don't know for sure but you could take it to your local Lowes/home depot and use a thread gauge on it to find out. Assuming no one else knows.
