If he can convince them to remove that *)%$*)(#@*&#$(!!! guard rail on the Northbound leg of the Morgul-Bismark, and put in a bike lane, I would be eternally grateful!

Thanks for pointing that out! Definitely a chuckle ..
I was just thinking the other day that they should bring this back! I can't think of a better place for a bike race. However, let's call it the Red Zinger Classic and keep Coors out of it.

YES! I have posted at least once that I thought this race needed to be run again.

ABSOLUTELY!:thumb:
Or get any of the many breweries here in CO that actually brew real *beer* as a sponsor.
Perhaps New Belgium in Ft Collins would be interested in introducing a new brew called "Skinny Tire" for the occasion.
^A New Belgium sponsored Colorado stage race? Coolest idea ever.

Heard rumors of this awhile ago on the radio right here in Colorado.

Based upon what Lance did later in the day it might be the Michelob Ultra Classic.

Or Michelob Ultra (http://velonews.com/article/98981/lance-armstrong-signs-deal-with-michelob-ultra)?
Seriously, you'd have hoped he could have found a better beverage of choice...

my guess is that all the *really* good beers are probably too small to sponsor the race...

Wonder how much it costs to sponsor something like this? $10 - 20M ??
New Belgium is the biggest and you're right, they likely couldn't afford it.
