Thought I'd say hello,

I've just recently got back into cycling after a long period of uncontrolled epilepsy and want to pursue racing next season. I know I am most likely going to perform horribly in my first year due to lack of experience and possibly not getting my fitness good enough over the winter but it will be good experience and will help me to see what the standard is.

Over the winter I'm looking to get my fitness up doing rides for endurance and interval training on a pair of steep hills near where I ride.

I'm riding a CAAD9 105 at the moment and it is a lovely bike apart from the Fizik saddle which is going...

Thought I would join up and see if I could learn anything from more experienced people before I dive in at the deep end.

Does your doctor think that bike racing is a good idea?

Welcome and "hello." We mill mostly make fun of you around here, but that is only because of our collective insecurity...actully, you can find good advice if you ask the right questions. Best of luck and let us know how things are going with both training and racing.
