Introductions - Hi

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi Folks,

I'm from Tempe, Arizona, age 48. My wife's cousin talked me into riding RAGBRAI with him back then, and I've been hooked on road biking ever since.

Hi, bikemike, and welcome to the best forum on the Web (of course, I could be prejudiced--but probably not). ;)

When was "back then"? And what kind of riding do you mostly do now?

Hope to see you around here often...ride in good health!

Welcome to the forum bikemike! I wished I was out in Tempe right now! Spring training is just getting ready to start near there!

Hello again, folks. Lots of activity in the introduction forum!
Yes, we have spring training about to start in Phoenix. It's beautiful weather for it, and for cycling.

I've got a Cannondale XR800 and a Cannondale RT2000 (tandem). Can't seem to interest the wife and sons in tandeming, though, so it's a low-mileage vehicle!
