Has anyone here had a Klein bike or knows of someone who had one that got warrantied? Word is that they are very strict, but I've got a Klein Quantum frame from 1999, and the derraileur hanger snapped, and its a non-replacealbe. I know I'll have to ship it back, but do you think this is something they'd consider for warranty? The frame itself is in awesome condition, and thats the only problem. I want to, but I'm not sure if there is even a chance so it may not even be worth sending back.

Thanks
Byron

G'day,

dunno anything about 'kleins' or the warranty, but....I'd ring 'em before i shipped it & have a 'chat'. Don't be confrontational, just see if you can 'sus' out their attitude to this sort of thing....you won't be the first to enquire!...Good luck & let us know how you go. For mine, most warranties are overrated anyway. it generally comes down to the integrity of the dealer/manufacturer,

cheers,
