Hey there,

I have been off my road bike for about ten years. I have been fooling around with my mountain bike on and off for a long time now, but Lance inspired me to bring the Old Centurion down off the garage wall and begin restoration.

Some changes will need to be made. For one, I am 33yo now, and that old skinny rock hard seat is pure torture. I know, I know, sounds whimpy, but I like a little comfort, especially if am riding for a long time.
Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi".

Welcome.

Hope you find a seat you like!

I do not find my seat on my road bike to be uncomfortable. It is skinny.

Good luck!

(I am only 32 years older than you) :D

No real seat problems on my road bike after a 5-6year hiatus. Back, neck and hands/wrists were the big problem. Switched to a recumbent. Now nothing hurts. The seat is far better than my office chair. I guess my butt did hurt but I apparently ignored it. Hope you find something that will give you a good fit. Welcome to the forums!
