Short version

we arrived to his final destination at the same time (after intersection of Lawrence and Homestead, the oil change place)
it began after Saratoga Sunnyvale rd/Homestead intersection
I caught up to him on at least 3 lights
Quote of the day "So I am suppose to wait behind you?" Umm yeah.
Runner up quote "Drive on a side walk." Not sure how you can "drive" a bike. lol
Smiling and waving as you pass angry driver for 2nd or 3rd time really seems to piss them off even more. :roflmao2:

I'm always nervous when I'm first at a light and there are cars behind me. One time, the lead car was right up on my wheel, maybe 3 feet maybe less. As soon as it turned green, I moved to as far right as I can while still turning left. The danger with that of course is getting hit head on by the opposite car making his left turn. Bottom line is, a car will always win.

Actually that is not what caused my fun encounter.

I don't get it. Homestead has a fairly decent bike lane. Most of the time there are no parked cars and even has traffic light sensors for bikes.

Some sections are not so nice and are filled with gravel, and warped asphalt.

I hate the stretch of Homestead road near Kaiser. There are jarring bumps on the road every few hundred feet. I feel it painfully especially on my fixie.
