maybe his was a custom job. I know some folks are kinda strange in their tastes.

I've seen all kinds of weird things done to race cars that mde little sense, jsut driver preference, so why not do it to a bike?

The Madone's seat tube meets the front of the bb, not centered like most bikes so that's why the gap on all Madones
