Narrowing down my first bent and looking for thoughts.

I am going with one of these two since Im only 5'6'' and xseam of 39 so I like the seat heights/bb on both.

Is one likely faster than other.

I kind of like the specs on the Dakota because of the lower seat height and bigger difference between BB and seat. But still doesnt have the high high bb of a high racer.

Seems like the Dakota has a bit more recline in the seat angle as well.

Pick the one that fits you best and is the most comfortable - they're pretty simiar. If you can get the Euromesh seat on either bike (Barcroft uses Bacchetta's Euromesh too) it will allow for more recline than the seat mesh. Other options in that format are the Volae Tour (http://www.hostelshoppe.com/cgi-bin/readitem.pl?Bike=1235161727) and the just-introduced Rans Enduro Sport (http://www.ransbikes.com/EnduroSport10.htm).

Have you eliminated a Volae Century (http://www.hostelshoppe.com/cgi-bin/readitem.pl?Bike=1235159289)? In a small frame it fits riders with x-seams of 36” to 41” and is available with either carbon or mesh seat. They are so popular with shorter riders that Rolf has problems keeping the small frames in stock.
