Friends described Jabaily as a man who loved to run, rode his bicycle to work every day, loved a good glass of wine and enjoyed dancing to reggae music.

Sounds like a nice guy who lived a every day as fully as possible.

Also, not to be gruesome, but do they really need to perform and autopsy? I would think it was obvious what killed him.

I've heard of this sort of accident happening at another Triathlon.

There was an article in Mens Health years ago about a paraplegic former Triathlete who became paralyzed when he got hit by a truck during a triathlon.

The guy overcame being hit by a bus (on his bike) in his 20s to become a triathlete and then became paralyzed in a competition.
