No, not the weight 200 (although that was a pretty sweet line for me to cross as well), but 200k. I'm going for it solo today. Gear is (mostly) packed, bike is (mostly) ready, just need to hang my lights on this morning, since I'll be starting, and most likely ending in the dark or twilight hours.
When I really started back into riding at the beginning of the season, I had no thoughts of weight loss (ok, maybe a little, but really wasn't the at the forefront of my mind), much less of riding 200k in a day. And yet, here I am, 3500 miles later, 50 some odd pounds less of me, getting ready for 200k, with over 6000ft of climbing.
Anyway, need to finish up the last minute stuff. If any wants to follow, I'll be tweeting my location while on course via droidtracker on my cell/gps.
