OK I Give up. How to I adjust the cable tention for the front derailer.

Thanks, But I know how to adjust the derailer. I just can't find cable adjuster on this bike. There a metal barrel inline with the cable close to the brifters but it just rotates and does nothing? its acting like a hollow spacer. Is something missing?

The inline adjusters can only make the adjustments when there is little or no tension on the cable. Put the chain onto the small ring and then adjust. As you turn the adjuster barrel the pieces at the ends should stay fixed to the cable housings and move in or out.

Saw this in the mechanics forum this morning. Worst case loosen the nut on the ft der itself and tighten from there.
