Northern California - Where does Page Mill climb "officially" start?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So, I did the Page Mill climb once again yesterday and decided I was un-slow enough to time myself. My time was 45 minutes 3 seconds. I started timing 1.2 miles south of the intersection with Arastradero at point (B) on this map (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Page+Mill+Rd&daddr=37.372877,-122.165855+to:Page+Mill+Rd&geocode=FcRyOgIdjOa3-A%3B%3BFXFhOQIdgJO3-A&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0,1&mrsp=1&sz=17&sll=37.372152,-122.166799&sspn=0.006267,0.010933&ie=UTF8&ll=37.349827,-122.165565&spn=0.100299,0.174923&z=13), where the climbing actually begins in my opinion. From looking at various sites, people start timing from Arastradero or even I-280 but that doesn't seem all that useful since it's basically flat before Story Hill Rd.
Where do you start counting, and what's your time? Just looking for a reference point :)

The Story Hill Rd intersection sounds like a reasonable place to start the clock. I've only timed it from Foothill College, going up Moody. It's a bit longer; I think my best was around 56 minutes.
From stop sign at Arastradero. 50-odd minutes. I think PR is 56, but I've never really tried for a PR on Page Mill.
Arastradero & Page Mill (stop sign). at least I always used is as my "official" "start" point.
Starting from Arastradero probably puts me at 50 minutes and some seconds.

Never really did an official time, I mostly just look at the clock to have an idea how long it will take me to get home.
From the stop sign I'm usually about an hour to Skyline.
