I was commuting on a Schwinn Varsity (what a truck!) when I was creamed by a car. It totalled the bike and scraped me up pretty good. One of my co-workers heard about my story and asked his friend if he could give me the bike that he had borrowed from him years ago, but had been gathering dust in his garage. He offerred it to me, but was unsure of the make--he just said he was pretty sure it was a good bike. I jumped at the opportunity and he brought it to work a few days later. It is a beautiful Jubile Sport 12 speed! It only required new tires and a new cable for the rear derailer. I also put my old schwinn seat on it, because I couldn't fix the Italia sport seat that came with it, besides I was used to the schwinn seat. I've been riding it for about 3 weeks now and it is effortless compared to pushing around that Schwinn everyday. I will post a picture from home in the next couple days (I am at work at the moment). It has the Moto decals and a "888 Vitus" decal under the top bar, below the seat. In small print this decal says "tubes legers 8/10". I am not a connosuier of bikes, and am newly registered on this site. But I couldn't be happier with my new ride. Can anyone tell me what they know about this bike? For instance, the age of it. I wouldn't sell it, but I'd also be interested in its value...I havent seen any like it on e-bay in the last few weeks. Also, what mat'l is the frame made of?
