Interesting read. I think he deserves to be punished (including losing his rainbow jersey), but I also think he deserves a second chance once his punishment is carried out.
Well, if Virenque doped, and he just got suspended and was allowed to return, then so should he. If he was doping at any time and won races, obviously, he needs to be stripped of those titles. And I don't think he should compete at the Olympics. We don't know really when he stopped doping, so he should be prevented from going.
After he serves his suspension, he should be allowed to return, just like Virenque, and as long as the pee is clean, he can race.

the UCI finally signed the WADA code, which means 2 year suspension, the confession came before this, so he may get a lighter sentence. Even if he continues to test negative, its not a sign of a clean racer...

Dear Flea77 and Koffee - until recently the anti-doping league was not even aware that a performance enhancing substance called THG excisted, let alone how to test for it in athletes. Unfortunately a clean pee means only that they could not find what they were looking for, and not what they should be looking for. The BALCO bomb is going to drop after this olympics.

Wow. That is actually quite refreshing. Finally an athlete just opens up and comes totally clean. Well... as far as I know... I"m sure there are some that have. I'm relatively new to the sport and don't have the history some of you have.
I'm glad he laid it all out and I hope he will be able to serve his ban and turn his life around.
