Hi from a E-bike (non-functional, used Ezee bike) owner,
I love urban bicycling ( 3-speed bicycle only) but I'm getting a little too old for lengthy bike rides.
We're about 6 miles (of level terrain and pleasant and quiet neighborhoods) from downtown Oklahoma City. I try to do a round trip every day but sometimes the strong wind takes the fun and joy out of it. I have several designated rest stops where I can pause, rest, and catch my breath.
So I need to use some supplementary source of power to continue riding OR cut back on the length of my trips. As it is now, I really do work up a sweat and usually return home almost exhausted (But feeling great overall).
I bought a used Ezee E-bike for $150.00 in non-running condition. The seller told me it needed a new battery. That sounded do'able so I bit. Unfortunately, a $130.00 replacement battery was NOT the solution.
So here I am looking towards the Forums for technical assistance that is simply not otherwise available locally. I really want to get this rig out on the road.
No E-bike dealers or repair available here in town. (wouldn't that be a great business opportunity to get into before the fad (!!) really takes ahold?)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
