Much like most people on these forums (probably) I've been into pratting around with bikes since as long as I can remember, which is about as far back as 1987 when I had a Raleigh Stormer at age 5. Years of 'mountain' bikes followed, but over the last year or so my urban dwellings have swayed my interest toward road bikes. So last month I bought this:

I think it was made around 1983; it's a standard Peugeot p10 with a 501 Carbolite frame, which, I've read, is nothing that special. I love it though. It needed some long-overdue maintenance so I resprayed and rebuilt it over the last two weeks, so now it's looking like this:

That's enough for now. I look forward to getting some questions answered and learning some proper bike maintenance stuff from you all.
