My friend and I went for a ride, and tonight he pushed and pushed to get me on a trail.
I told him "no not a good idea for me" (310 lbs on a specialized hard rock)
he was persistent, so to shut him up we started going down this trail.
lots of rocks in the trail (big rocks about what you would find in a river bed)
I knew it was a bad idea from the first pedal stroke on this trail.
found myself on a downhill section and braking, took the wrong line through some rocks and one pretty much stopped me dead in my tracks, but the front wheel went going for a bit.
Video of damage to wheel:

Needless to say I'm off to the LBS tomorrow for options.
Guess I'll need to expedite that new wheel set.
I'm also fairly certain the rotor is fine, I can't see any deformation in it.
