I used to know a person who made trips back and forth between the LA area and the Bay Area...so it's possible that it might not be a scam. You can always email the seller if you're interested (and meet at a public location).

True. I've seen this ad appear in many incarnations, each time seemingly with a different story. It's very suspect. It's a 56cm anyway, if it were 54cm I might be interested.

FYI,

When I clicked on the links, the ads had been deleted by the poster.HMMMM???

He bumps it to the top every few hours.

My guess is it's an email address mining operation for spam. You send him a message, give-up your personal or work email account, if you're so gullible, he sells the address to some cycling oriented marketing company. If you know what this item is you probably, a) cycle, and b) have money.

Lol, now he has two ads up for the same bike. The new one, it's $3700 instead of $3500 for the deal of a lifetime.
