Hi,
I am from Singapore but I have just arrived in Kyoto for work and will be staying here for a while. Kyoto is a very nice place for cyclist. I have been cycling since my teens and would like to make it a big part of my life in Kyoto. The cycling culture is also rich here, ranging from professional cyclist, recreational, housewives cycling to the market, to commuters riding to work and to schools.
I have started a blog on my bicycle life in Kyoto. http://twowheeldiaryjapan.blogspot.com/ I will be posting cycling trips, bike culture in Japan and anything related to cycling in the Japanese context. It also include some motorcycling stuff as I am also a fan of motorcycles. Please feel free to leave a comment or ask me questions.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
