I picked one up from Wiggle (UK shop) for $63 recently. They had free shipping to the US with $80, so I added a few other things I wanted and got the free shipping.

I paid $54 last fall, from a Nashbar sale. Free shipping over 50 bucks, too. Watch their sales, and be patient.

Thanks! Wanderer do you know of any good short tours in northern illinois? I live in Geneva/Batavia and was looking to try touring with a 3 day 2 night tour before winter hits to hard.

The problem with where we live, is that you have to go somewhere else to get away from the clutter of civilization. The MUPs around here are nice, though.

Drive out to the Mississippi, or Rock rivers, and go up toward Galena. The Stagecoach trail is always a nice spot to traverse. (Galena, back toward Freeport, thru Scales Mound.) As is the Rock River from Dixon to Rockford, or so.

If up in Galena, there are any number of nice County Roads in the S/W corner of Wisconsin.

I got a Honey B17 Special (copper rails and large copper rivets) for $75 with a coupon code on JensonUSA

[edit] Central to southern IL is good riding imo. Lots of farm land and small towns off the back roads between StL and Urbana.

Wiggle (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/) is a good source for bike parts.

Their B-17s are $70 now; I think a minimum of ~$85 is required now for free shipping to USA (depends on exchange rate).

I ordered stuff on a Thursday AM in Georgia, USA, had it at 2pm on Tuesday. I can't get stuff from Performance or Nashbar that fast.

Their prices are unbeatable on some items. I got a San Marco Rolls saddle for $53; cheapest I could find after that was $69 + $9 S/H in the states. A Tubus Cargo in 26" black, unavailable in the States for ~6 months (seriously, n/k, i checked around), $107. So they not only had this "unavailable" rack, it was a few bucks cheaper than US suppliers.

Also, Ribble (http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/) in the UK has some of the best prices on Campy anywhere.

You can get even better deals if you are patient and lucky and time your purchase against the daily exchange rate fluctuations.
