Road Cycling - Look pedals on Dura ace crank.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've got some new Look pedals that I want to fit onto my Dura-ace cranks, but the diameter of the hole on the cranks is quite a bit larger than the bolt diameter on the pedals. I there some sort of adaptor available to bridge the gap as it were? I imagine it would look something like a large washer with threads on the inside and outside. Thanks.
This is weird as there is no I reason I can think of where a new Look pedal wouldn't fit on to a Dura Ace crank - even if the crank was very old. I could be wrong though (I am quite often, just ask my wife) but I would ask this question in the Mechanics forum also to expand your chances of getting a solid answer.

If you have an early 80s set of Dura Ace AX Dyna Drive cranks, you have one option I know of (see link). These will allow you to run standard 9/16 pedals.

If you're crankset isn't the old Dyna Drive, I have no ideas...

Also, what model Look pedals? I'm considering CX6 to go on my Dura Ace cranks. Since they are listed as 9/16 I assumed they'd work.

Pretty much everything made now-a-days and for the past 15+ is 9/16 except for bottom of the barrel BMX/Wallmart stuff that has single piece cranks. You should be fine.

That's exactly what I was thinking of - thanks for the information.
