It's a CL find, and the poster says it's an original build from a no-name frame supposedly of Canadian origin. That seems a little suspect to me, though the price is decent ($350). Can't tell much about the components. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Looks kinda like a touring bike to me. Not a CX bike with fenders, etc.

I figured I can strip off the fenders and the rack easily enough. Might need different tires, haven't looked at it yet. However, I just stumbled across a 2007 Cross Check for $700, so I might check that out instead. Thoughts? Supposed to be in great condition.

The drivetrain looks super low end. With the exception of the shifters. I'd pay 250 max

Thanks folks. I'm taking a pass on this one, going to look at the Cross Check tonight or tomorrow. Nelzar13, you're close - that RI one is the wrong size, but I found a guy with my size frame in MA.
