Introductions - Hello from the frozen tundra of New Hampshire

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey everyone,
I just signed up and I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone. I was an avid road cyclist for many years and I sort of stopped riding 6-years ago until August of this year. Now that the initial pain and wind sucking has subsided I'm really enjoying myself. The sad part is that the cold weather has set in and made it a new challenge to overcome.
I'll leave it at that and hope to meet some of you soon.

Welcome to Bike Forums, and welcome back to cycling in general Spencer! Hopefully the northeast will get a few more warm days before the cold weather settles in for the long term. If not, you'll appreciate spring that much more! Good luck!

It is supposed to be in the upper 50's this week so I'll get out everyday this week. I went out Saturday morning it was 32. That's not bad but except for the first couple of miles until I'm warmed up.

I was riding with my club just north of the Vermont border yestday, and we could see the snow on Jay Peak. The scenery was wonderful and the cold doesnt get to you so bad when you are pedaling up the hills.

Hey Midol-Mohawk, where are you on Cape Ann. I lived in Essex and Gloucester for years. Although if you're 23 you weren't born yet when I moved to NH.:)
