Any advice for riding this trail would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone ridden it, what did you think? Also did you get a shuttle back to your car? How did you set that up, cost, etc? Thanks everyone.

SBT is a great ride. I've not ridden the entire trail, though due to shuttle time constraints. The trail is in great shape, but is poorly marked. Make sure you have a good map. Drive time to the shuttle drop off is about an hour (24 miles of narrow, twisty road) in 1 direction.
Call Gearing Up bike shop in Taos. They have excellent maps and local info. I think they'll run a shuttle here and there for $60. You may want to request this in advance so they've got the necessary staff to do it. 505.751.0365 is the number. I wrote a little review on my website. It's got a couple of pics, too.

Have fun. It's a great ride. Start early to avoid the heat!
