I call her Candy-O, she's an old large tube C-dale roadie with a Kenisis fork, new BB and HS. A 46 Scot bar, 700x20s and running 53x17, and I'm maxing her out, but anything larger (inchwise) I might not get up the hills around here.
I don't know when it happened either, cause I've been infatuated with riding fixed for most of 3 years now, including my commutes during the winter. I slapped this bike together and I've found a new reason to get up in the morning (it used to be my back teeth were floating). It feels so good to ride, I ride longer routes and add miles just to ride more. I trade out on the bikes, but find I am in love with this bike like nothing I've experienced. I have a set of clip ons and just fly on this sucker, my average speeds have gone up, I've carved ten minutes off my commute. I could almost wax poetic.

Glad you got yourself a new ride, although from what I know of you naisme you don't have a lack of bicycles at your disposal. Even the 53/17 seems a little big for me, I like riding in the middle 70's for gear inches. I just like to have that get up and go if I need it.

Congrats
