Did some research, but still not clear on the question.
Is the Garmin Edge 705 suitable for tracking walking as an exercise activity in addition to cycling?
What is the lowest speed it will track?
Thanks in advance for any help.

It will track any speed you can walk but do you want to keep it in your hand while walking?

Its form factor is small enough, so should be no problem. You'll need to make sure the "auto-pause" function is set to stop or off, or at least a low enough speed so it won't auto-pause as you slowly mope along.

I used my Garmin Edge 305 for a backpacking trip and it worked great. I put it in the top compartment of the pack.
