Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Are there any states in the US that currently require all persons to wear a helmet on bicycles?
I get the feeling I'm gonna hate myself for asking this question, but I am curious.
A simple question with a simple answer (http://www.bhsi.org/mandator.htm).
(edit)From a quick scan I think the answer is no. Washington state seems to have a lot of all-ages towns.(/edit)

I've asked a friend in Congress to introduce a bill to require helmet use
by Congress...24/7
Congressional helmets by all means 24/7.

I tend to think it's inevitable. Suspect we'll see it in our lifetimes. Motorcycle, bicycles, horses, fat girls, anything you can ride.
