Not worth it for a used Fuji. You can buy a new Windsor The Hour for the same price, and its the exact same bike (with different stickers).

I'll be the first to say it (in this particular thread, anyway)...buy a Kilo.

I'd go an extra step for a pretty bike. Kilo Stripper

If you have a bigger budget, go bigger.

I agree. How much are you ideally looking to spend?

2-3 weeks for exactly what you want may be worth the wait.

but this is another bike i really like but i feel like its a bit overpriced think i should get it or just keep on that wait for the volume

I have that bike. Great frame, pretty cruddy cranks (can be used without issues though, I used mine for 10000 miles without major problems, but they are worse than just about everything), saddle is adequate and the wheels are indestructable if they're built or tuned by a pro wheel builder. I really like mine

That Masi is cool but if the Volume Cutter is what you really want, hold out. We're talking 2 or 3 weeks.

If you have $1k why are you even considering spending $300 on a fuji. That leaves you $700 for whatever else you want. That leaves you with 2 okay bikes or if you save and be smart and have patients you can have one bad MFr. Just relax, breathe, and ride your mtn bike until then.

I think you may be posting just to say "Hey everyone on BikeForums, I have a thousand dollars and am buying a Volume Cutter!"

This time around, buy a bike that is the right size.

I'll throw in a vote for the fuji. i use mine to commute back and forth to campus on. got it for about $300 a year and a half ago and have zero complaints so far... just my $.02.

Fair. I'd take one too. In fact at that price point it's a great deal. Just saying if you $1k for a bike why spend $300. Spend $1k.

well i wasnt trying to show off if i did i would have posted it in the first place like hey look what i wanna build...

i was considering this bike as a budget buy in this economy i find it rather hard to drop $1k on a bike but it was something i saved up thinking i wanted a nice volume cutter setup

but i was offered this fuji of cl and though maybe i should pick this up ride it and if i like it while im waiting for my lbs to restock the vol cutter maybe i wont have drop the other $700 haha

I think you should keep this thread going real strong for another 2 and a half weeks, then go buy the bike you actually want.
