I was wondering if anyone knew if the berrings for a Haro F3 are in a brace or not? Thanks

If you mean a cage/retainer, the answer is proably "yes," because cages save assembly time at the factory. The first time you overhaul a set of caged bearings, replace them with a full circle of loose balls, for improved race and cone surface longevity.

On current production bicycles, sealed pedal and crank/BB bearings are almost universal, and sealed wheel bearings are common on mountain bikes. With sealed bearings, you don't even worry about cages or repacking or other maintenance.

Thats right you just replace the whole works for $30 rather than spending an hour or two(home/hobby mechanic time) and $0.50 worth of grease repacking them every few years.
