I just got one of these. It cost $60 delivered. Compared to my direct-drive P7, the Shiningbeam is noticeably brighter with a whiter beam. It is also slightly smaller and it had 3 modes; the P7 now only has one mode since I modified it. The Shiningbeam does get warm quickly when on high, and I haven't had it long enough to check on run time. So far, it seems like a very good light. I like the memory feature it has. It remembers the last mode it was in. Camera is down or else I would post a pic.

I have had one of these lights for a few months and running for long periods of time on the bike is no issue on high.. I use Ultrafire Protected 3000mah cells and get 80 minutes on high..

When it runs the battery down, it will flash and drop to low mode, the drop is very noticeable.. I think the brightness in on par with my P7's but the beam is a little tighter so it more usable light.
