Since headsets take a lot of abuse, I usually disassemble and repack the headset on my bikes every winter. Last winter I worked on the headset of my new Stratus. I was very happy to see that the lower bearing was a roller bearing. Roller bearing in the bottom position makes a lot stronger bearing assembly. Now to the question. Does anyone know of or have expierence with a sealed bearing setup. I have read of some other LWB bents having a sealed bearing headset. This would seem to be a good upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

Unless this headset is a very unusual or proprietary design, look at Chris King headsets. They have sealed bearings and a 10 year warranty. FSA maks several sealed bearing headsets too but, IIRC, only in threadless form.
