I am hoping somebody out there has a suggested fix for my hitch problem. I cannot loosen the "QuickHitch" bolt it must be stripped. I have taken it to the bike shop, an RV dealer who deals with hitches, and sent Yakima an email.......all to no avail. I hate to have to ruin my hitch as a one would cost $200+. So if any of you have experienced a similar problem and/or have a proposed fix please reply.

In my recycle-a-bicycle program, we sometimes had luck using ammonia to loosen really tough bolts. That was a trick Sheldon Brown taught me. It didn't always work, but when it did, it was worth the stink!
