Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Campagnolo C-Record Pedals

Though they were the C-180 model but I think they are the SGR.

Got them from my uncle who has a bunch of old road bike parts laying around. How much are these worth? Also, what type of toe clips do they accept? They aren't flat on the fronts so I figured you need a special type of clip.

I found a picture of them online (camera is MIA so i couldn't take a picture of them).

Those are 1992 Record PDS pedals. NOT "clipless"; a sort of specific pedal that uses a clete. The site you listed causes more confusion than anything. C180 refers to a range of components, much less specific to pedals. SGR-1 , a dif. pedal entirely use a look type plate for the shoe.
After '92, Campy pedals used Look...change upon change... ended-up similar but slightly dif. than Look.
Your pedals ought to have that thin black plate acroos the front as well.
Such pedals are of no interest to anyone other than individuals interested in that old pedal; period correct etc. They were a flop, a day late and a dollar short. Campy always floundered with pedals. The dudes at Y. Jers. etc. may dig 'em, ask 'em. Certain types in e-bay might also; put 'em up at 25, if one guy wants 'em..25 it is; if 2 or 3 more do... who knows. Shimano made the best platform pedal w/toe straps, many feel the same way I do. Few actually wish to USE those ones.

Yellow Jersey has cleats that will work for those pedals, and they will fit on modern shoes with drillings for 3-hole "Look" type cleats.

I disagree one one point with old and new. I think they'd easily fetch $100 on e-bay since they are quirky and will work with a traditional steel toe clip. I think if you include fixed gear in the description you'll be surprised by how many fixters will come running (skidding?) for these babies.

I believe you're correct. I'd considered weighin' -in again, now that you have.. here I am.
Starting out at a higher price is a better idea no matter what, lots to gain ZERO to lose.
Record is always worth a price AND it's not a common pedel AND the fixed gear aspect.

I just sold a set of Super Record track pedals, $100, locally.

If those are the units at the upper image with the black cage plates then indeed they are short lived.
This was a quick (?) response to the Shimano 7400 series pedal, the last of the toe clip designs from them that provided extra cornering clearance as these do, but the Campag units still fell short in that dept. too. Interestingly Campagnolo took a reverse step here and went back to a conventional toe clip.

Both the Shimano pedal and these Campagnolo units were soon cast aside as the Look "clipless" pedal DOMINATED the racing pedal market for a while effectively killing these off.

Shimano bought into the Look standard. Campagnolo was too proud at first, and got lost and went heavy with their initial "clipless" pedal.

These would look fine on my track bike, hint hint, nudge nudge, as for now the ONLY non italian parts on it are the Shimano pedals I mentioned, the local track is just too steep in the banking for old school pista pedals.

Value? $130. on a god ebay day, I have missed a few pairs at $40. too.
