I thought some of you might be interested in the fate and the well being of my new arrival. As you can see from the new series of photos, he is not alone in the world now. He has a new adopted "father." Bengali is my previous rescue much like the new little fellow (yes, I am sure he is a boy). The only difference is that Ben was a pure bred throwaway from a probably misguided and greedy breeder of Bengal cats. He was only 2 1/2-3 weeks old with his eyes barely open, barely can crawl, and did not know how to eat or use a litter box when I spotted him on a busy street one morning over 10 years ago. He seemed to fail at sprouting spots so he was dumped. As you can see from the photos, he is most likely the most spotted one of his litter. The new one (now probably named Radu, but not finalized yet until he goes to the vet) will be seeing the holistic veterinarian later next month for his 1st kitten exam & to see when it is best for him to be neutered.
His coat color is still brown, but since black is a dominant color, the brown seemed to be blending in more making a a sable brown type of smooth coat. We will see what direction nature chooses to take him just like Ben changed as he got older.
