Pacific Northwest - Routes from Beaverton, OR?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hey everyone, the family and I just moved to Beaverton last Monday and we are completely unfamiliar with the area. I was hoping that someone could give me a few routes that originate from Beaverton (near Greenway Blvd and Hall preferably). Things in the 15-50 mile range would all be great, preferably with minimal climbing.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Jaye, I'm in northeast Portland and don't get to ride in Beaverton quite as much as I'd like. My club, the Wheelmen ( http://www.pwtc.com ) has a few rides on the west side. Check out Portland Velo too. When you get a chance, come try out my Tuesday night ride (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=9840801&postcount=5). Welcome to the Portland area.
If you head southwest on Scholls Ferry Rd., once you get a mile or so out of town, it's very mellow and flat.

+1.
Head out Scholls Ferry to Scholls-Sherwood Road and return north on Roy Rogers.
Or turn off Scholls Ferry at Tile Flat (or River) Road to Farmington Road (heading west); then take hwy 219 (south) back to Scholls Ferry.
Combine those loops for something a bit longer, and then explore further out once you are comfortable. There are some great roads out that way. Including further south towards Newberg (North Valley Road) or west along the south edge of Hillsboro heading towards Forest Grove (and even Hagg Lake).
Welcome to the area!
I was up in B'ton visiting my wife's family this summer. I have to say, the PDX area is just wonderful for riding. Hills if you want, flats if you want, bikelanes and multiuse paths. I raced on the PIR course on one night and was going to try the track at Alpenrose (got rained out, unfortunately).
If we could find jobs there, we'd seriously think about moving up there. Congrats on your move.
