i'm surprised valverde didn't do lombardia. i didn't realize there was a race in mexico - is this one of the celebratory deals like the post tour crits?

Valverde didn't race Lombardia because he is banned from racing in Italy for 2 years. The Cancun race sounds like a good excuse for a vacation for Contador.
