Since it was cold and wet I opted to pass on the ride this year. Anyone ride it? Any stories??

I also skipped it, but I heard that only 400 people showed up.

This is my favorite ride of the year, but alas I stayed home also. For a while I considered driving over there, but I wasn't willing to do the three plus hour round trip to only pick up my T-shirt. On their web site they thank the hundreds of people who showed up, which is considerably less than the several thousand that usually do. I wonder what they'll do with all the left over T-shirts?

I rode the Bucks County Covered Bridge Ride. I did the 33 mile route, which went out to the Sergeantsville
Covered Bridge (NJ). It was a little misty and damp at times, but no rain. I have done this ride several times before and it was quite pleasurable due to the absence of crowds. It was nice to see the dedicated
riders enjoying themselves. I had a nice ride, enjoyed the fall colors and got some landscape photography
in. Anyone that skipped the ride missed an enjoyable day. You can't have perfect weather all the time,
that is what biking is all about !!!
