From another list: Someone was riding this lowracer at George Bush Park in Houston yesterday. Any info?

Thundervolt Mach One.

It is often described as a clone of Velokraft NoCom, but I believe there are some structural and steering differences.

:)ensen.

That's my bike, built by John Morciglio. I like taking it out George Bush since I can build up a good head of speed without having to worry about traffic or lots of turns. It's a beautful, comfortable, very fast bike. It's easily added 5mph to my speed so far and I still haven't used the last two gears yet. The biggest adjustment has been getting used to the machine gun steering. The bike is fairly twitchy when starting and steering input while cruising needs to be in very small increments. Overall though it's a well made bike and I LOVE IT!!! Engyo, if you want to give it a test ride send me a PM.

Hardin, I might beg you for a ride if you don't mind and I'm in the area. I don't have the money now, but I've been talking to John about buying one for a while now. Is yours a double or single chainring?

By all means. Send me a PM and I'll give you my phone number. It's a double chain ring.
