I picked this up localy. Its kind of rough....the forks been replaced as a result of a front impact. It couldnt have been too bad as the front wheel is still true. Full 600 Ultegra tri-color group, STI's, Mavic Open 4CD rims with Wheelsmith spokes.

A little history of Mondonico copied from the web:

Nice find! Is that a dent in the head tube near the Pump pin?

No, but there's one on the down tube.

Great frame! My Mondo, a little older than yours, is a truly fine ride.

I would get those top and down-tube dents near the head tube looked at. They could be nothing, or they could bite you. They're typical of frame damage in a hard frontal impact.

The paint is cracked where the top of the top tube meets the head tube lug. Deserves further investigation to be sure tubing underneath is OK

is that a chain hanger being used as a pump peg?

The bike does have some bulges from the collision. Don't know what to recommend, but I wouldn't ride it down any mountains.

Only under the downtube and its very, very subtle. While the paints cracked on the TT there's no buldge.

There may not be any bulges, but the underlying metal has distorted and may be weakened. We need your continued Peugeot expertise.
