Anyone ever heard of this stuff.......Read this press release. Sounds to me like they are just trying to make people think it MAY have something illicit(sp?) in it just to boost sales.

Just sounds like a bunch of BS to me...btw that sure looks like the Virgin Records logo...I wonder what the connection is?

Richard Branston sold Virgin Records some time ago, but apparently retained the right to use the Virgin logo on other, non-recording related products. Thus we have Virgin Cola, which has been around for quite a while in other parts of the world, and is now, it would seem, trying to break into the US market. There is also Virgin Blue Airlines which started operations here in Australia recently, and the new Virgin credit card. Who knows what he'll get his fingers into next, if he doesn't kill himself in another failed attempt to fly a hot air ballon around the world.

This so called 'press release' reads as nothing more than part of an advertising campaign, and the appropriate level of seriousness should apply, ie. none at all.

Virgin has been selling softdrinks for a long time... and yes, they're a sister company to Virgin Records (and Virgin Airlines, etc). And I for one think that's a very funny press release indeed!

Yep, that's exactly how I took it. A semi-clever marketing strategy aimed at those that will try anything for that little extra "edge".
