I see Cytomax Preformance has ceased to be. Is there any product similar, i.e. a pre-ride meal replacement/supplement?

I always eat well the night before a ride; and I am always well hydrated and "electrofied" during a ride. And I enjoy a nice shake post ride. But when it comes to waking up and making a sound breakfast before a ride, well, just color me lazy!

Sure, the stuff tasted like bad Hawaiian Punch strained through soiled underwear, but it worked.

Is there anything similar?

Thanks in advance.

In theory - Cytocarb II and CytoGainer Whey mixed together can make an almost identical formula. However, there were a few other ingredients -such as Co-enzyme Q that were included in Preformance.

I used Preformance - and I was sort of convinced that it was somehow superior as well. But hey, you can always buy the individual supplements if you want......

I mix bulk maltodextrin and either chocolate flavored soy or whey protein 7:1 by weight for my on-bike food. For breakfast, I just drink about 220 ml of that stuff, mixed in about 16 oz. water. Mix it up the night before and refrigerate. There ya go. Add other mystery go-fast chemicals as desired.

Toast w/PB & honey. Doesn't get much easier than that.
