I ordered 2 magicshines from Geoman. They arrived yesterday. It is Geoman included a helmet mount and a splitter cable for free with the order. More importantly the lights were obviously charged and checked by geoman for Functionality prior to shipment to me. Also, my lights have 5 modes: high, med, low, strobe and SOS. I doubt I will ever use strobe or SOS. I am pleasantly suprised to get more than I paid for. Gean is a great vendor in my book!

Sweet! I ordered one a week ago, good to know they're moving.

When did you order yours? I ordered on 10/9, but still no update. When I ordered my MagicShine they were all out of stock, but the site listed 10/22 as the date for new stock arrival. From what I hear GeoMan has a great reputation and is a good vendor, I hope I have the same experience...but damn, two weeks is a long time to wait to get one item.

Yes I have ordered 3 different times from Geoman and have received everything very fast and I highly recommend him. The last item I ordered was a Magicshine and I received it fast. Since then the Magicshine's popularity has grown immensely and there just don't seem to be enough to go around. That isn't Geoman's fault and if you were to order this light somewhere else it you are still going to have to wait. If you are concerned about your order just shoot him an email and I'm sure he will give you an update. He has always responded to my emails lightening fast.

I have a friend who ordered one the same time as you and he emailed geoman and stated that it had been shipped and should arrive in the next few days..
There is another us vendor that has them in stock, I have bought items from them in the past with no issues..

Had a charger go bad. E-mailed Geoman and three days later had a new in my hands I then e-mail him back asking of he wanted the bad one. He got right back to me and said it was not worth the shipping charge and to just toss it out.
This the way business should be. This is why I bought from him . There were some place that had it 10 bucks cheaper But buying from Geoman has worked out very well . I am very pleased with the way he runs his business. And the light seem top be working great.
I just hope they last

Glad to hear the good reviews! I emailed him, and he replied within a couple minutes about my light. Should ship out this weekend or early next week...can't wait to strap that light on and go for a night ride!
Yep, i'm chopping at the bit. It's now dark when I get home from work!

Geoman does indeed offer amazing customer service for the small profit he nets on a $90 bike light.
I have twice had issues with my Magicshine, and Geoman promptly, professionally rectified the situation.
Geoman should simply be your first (and only) choice for purchase of a Magicshine bike light.

Whats the guess on the wholesale price?

Whats the guess on the wholesale price?
I contacted the manufacturer 4-6 weeks ago and was interested in bringing in 100 units.
Once I got the pricing I was surprised how small the margin is compared to textiles (what I import from Asia regularly for many years). To tell you the truth, I don't recall for certain the landed price after our negotiation (I think it was around $69 or $70), but I do remember I would have to sell it for $120/set to make it worth my while.
I don't know the quantities Geoman brings in, of course, so he may be getting it for a few bucks less than my quote, but once you factor in some warranty problems, selling fees like charge card processing, or eBay/Amazon fees (if selling on those venues), his margin is very very slim. And considering his high quality of customer service, he is offering a great value.

Usually when buying from sites like alibaba the price breaks are usually at 500-1000 units..
100.00 for this light is still a great bargain.. I notice a few more usa sellers starting to sell them..

Yeah we had a lot for sale in NZ at 100% markup initially. Currently around 140US$ though up to 190US$ (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Sports/Cycling/Parts-accessories/Lights/auction-248774122.htm)
Generally they use beamshots pinched from here, MTBR or CPF
Does Geoman send a email when he ships?

Yes, I got an email saying my item shipped. I don't remember if it had a tracking number though
