I'm looking to see if anyone happens to have both of these lights, I like my dualcross, and it's been meeting my needs, but my battery is starting to drop off a bit, and rather than go with a new battery for the dualcross, I'm thinking of getting the Magicshine. Does anyone have them both, and is the single Emmitter from the magicshine (since it is a P7) close in brightness to the dual cree's in my dualcross? (I upgraded my dualcross to the cree's as per the discussion forum here, and I do like the amount of light I get, so if the magicshine is near that, or greater, it will be worth the upgrade.)

Apparently I can't post links to facebook :) Let me figure out how to do the side by side.

I Dualcross light is rated at 300 lumens, you will very happy with the MS light.. I have seen ranges in measured output from 600 to 660 lumens out the front for the MS light..

I took the side by side shots, and was amazed by the difference, it's def much brighter, and the amount of area it lights up is truly impressive. I'll be having my first ride home with it tonight, so that will be the first real world test. (So far it's just beeh shining it around the back yard) I'll post here as soon as I get home with impressions.
