Does anyone know of any free places to park, for most of the day, near Will Rogers State Park? I'm planning to ride Rogers Rd and Sullivan Canyon this Sunday. I am willing to ride on the street for a while if need be (will be riding a cyclocross bike).

there are a few side streets next to will rogers, many of them are permit parking only but if i remember correctly (or not lol) there may be a street w/o restriction
or you can do this
go up capri drive all the way to the top, park on capri/casale rd its free, ride down casale rd for a min. and you will wind up at Sullivan canyon fire road then you can ride to the boyscout camp which leads to will rogers, then you can go to rogers rd

I think Sullivan Canyon is closed. The gas company was planning some major work in there.
You might be able to park at the polo fields.

Sullivan Canyon is closed. Besides, the route described is a real scramble.
My recommendation would be to pay to park at Will Rogers ($12) to help support the park. Ride up the Backbone Trail to Temescal Ridge, go north to Mulholland, ride down into Peewizz Pass and up the other side to the Amalfi fire road. Go down that to Sunset, ride a quarter mile west to the back road to Will Rogers and ride up that. It's a nice loop.
There are other loops available, depending on how far you want to go and what kind of riding you want. If you don't want to ride up the Backbone single-track, ride the route the other way around.
I'm usually out there on Sundays. If you see someone on a big yellow Turner, that's me. :)

Thank you all for the advice. I'll be going to Will Rogers SP after all. My new plan is the Sullivan Fire Road to the top, then tour around, then back down Rogers Rd. Should be fun. Just look for the guy on the cross bike wearing a California flag cycling kit.
