hi all,

anyone tried installing this shimano trigger shifter on their MU ? will this interfere with the fold ?

If you are talking about your Mu XL, it won't work because the 8spd Nexus Hub isn't compatible with that 9spd trigger shifter. (or a typically indexed 8spd trigger shifter). You would need an Alfine trigger shifter like THIS (http://www.bikeman.com/LD5705.html) .. if you have a derailleur system, then you'd need a Shimano compatible derailleur (2:1) to use your item..

yes. it's for my mu xl (IGH). thanks a lot bruce. really appreciate it. Alfine has almost the same price as the shimano i am inquiring about.
