1983-ish Frame and Fork only.....58cm (edited) Mechanicly sound...needs paint.

I'm going to sell it and have no idea what to ask. If it had good paint I'd have an idea but what do you think its worth considering it needs to be repainted? From what I remember it has the desireable chain stay design.

No pics.

Thanks,
Jim

I do believe it could get as much as three (over 2 anyway) given the size. Even though it needs paint, it's a good size, you know that.
DeRosas have neither long or short stays which aren't particularly delicate looking.
They've a "square" geometry; compared to other brands(ecpecially early '80s) they've non-steep ST angles and an uncharacteristically longish TT, you know, not shorter than the ST as most Italian bikes did. Current Neo Primatos are similar to most since 1980, mostly... De Rosas do as good as many, better than most. The bling that appeals to many on a Tommasini works against the Tom. if the paint suffers.
De Rosas more than any other are judged by thier rep. as a bike, beyond appearance.
2 dudes I knew, owners of 2 dif. shops chose DeRosas (a long time ago)
