Hi all,

After some time reading these forums, I just registered and posted my first messages. So here you have a Spanish recreational (read, '******') rider just saying hi to everyone. I'll see you around

Welcome to the forum! There are lots of great people here.

What part of Spain do you live in? I'm in Seville.

Bienvenido, campaleches. Aquí un coterráneo tuyo (Madrileño por mas señas) pero residente fuera de España ha ya muchos años.

Anyway, good to have you with us, haven't been here long myself but I find this place a great source of information as well as an inspiration to hop on your bike and go -- no matter what your goals are.

So welcome and enjoy your stay!

More about myself? mmmm.... Well, my bike is a ciclocross Yeti Arc-X. I am using it as my do-everything bike, both road and offroad cycling, just with different tires. It's a very sweet ride. But I am getting built a custom titanium frame that will by my next roadie, so this is gonna change quite soon. I'll post some pics here when it's done. I don't race, although I was in a MTB team when I was still a teenager. Now I have enough with carrying my a** up to the mountains around here. My goals? In the short-term, having some time for riding next weekend. In the medium term, losing about 10 punds from my belly, enjoying my new bike, and maybe running the 2010 Madrid Marathon, if I'm fit enough by then.

How I ended up in Spain? That one is easy: I was born here. And, of course, I'll be most glad of riding with any of you here, so you're most welcome, Rouleour. As for adoption, however, I have enough with my baby daughter for now, thanks for the offer :D. I am from Madrid, btw (un saludo, OwnRules, es agradable encontrarse un paisano por aquí). So not so far away, Ekdog, specially compared to distances within the US.

So, thank all of you for your nice welcome
