Southeast - Bicycle Lab / Karma Cycleworks - any experience?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone here have any experience working with Bicycle Lab / Karma Cycleworks out of Carrboro, North Carolina? With fit issues or have a custom bike built by them? Any feedback appreciated!
I had a fit done by him (Victor) about 2 years ago. I liked the fellow, he was knowledgeable on fit issues (especially feet) and took time to discuss any issue or, answer any question. No rushing. The fit was done in his house, and he has since built a shop and added/updated equipment. I have not been in his new shop. About 6 or 8 months ago, I had a fit done in Asheville by Andy Applegate. This was a more comprehensive fit (WobbleNaught) with lasers and the such. While the fit ended up with somewhat similar numbers from both, I felt Andy took more time to dial things in. Andy uses a Kurt Kinetic Rock & Roll trainer and has lasers monitoring body angles, measurements and pedaling motions. Having said this, Victor might have similar equipment now, but I have not been in his new shop.
I think Victor is particularly strong in foot issues and shoe fitting. He made a pair of insoles for me that I still use today.

How much does a laser fitting cost?

I can't say for sure, but it looks like Andy Applegate now works for Carmichael Training, so if he still does /did fittings, I'm guessing it's at Carmichael's rate.I'm interested as well.
Hmmm, I did not know this. However, I suspect his connection with Carmichael may just be the training part. I will speculate that the fitting is still done separately, and via the WobbleNaught/Reutal method. The price was $220, hopefully it hasn't changed. It took 3 hours for my fitting and he is very thorough. Andy has been in cycling a long time and is very knowledgeable.
Edit: I just looked at the Carmichael site and, they also offer the Reutal fit. So, in fact the rate may be the Carmichael rate now - whatever that is. I doubt that it would be too much different but, I don't know.
